WAOH Wagyu comes from Kumamoto Prefecture in Kyushu — a region known for its clean natural environment and strong agricultural heritage.


What Defines WAOH Wagyu

“WAO” (和王 = “Japanese King”) = top-tier brand within Kumamoto Kuroge Wagyu, a certified premium subset of Kumamoto beef  

  • Kumamoto Wagyu = region
  • WAO = elite selection within that region


Strict Qualification

To be labeled WAO, beef must meet:

  • Grade A4–A5 only
  • BMS ≥ 6 (high marbling threshold)
  • Raised 28+ months (long fattening)
  • From Japanese Black (Kuroge Washu)


Feeding & Production Advantage

  • Fed carefully selected plant-based feed (“Tokusen” series)
  • Raised in Kumamoto’s clean water + natural environment
  • Full traceability system

Water Quality :Volcanic layers filter water - clean, mineral-rich groundwater
